THREE SEPARATE STORIES. ONE GORGEOUS BLACK HEROINE.
Born in a remote village in Central Africa, Nshila Ileloka is befriended by the local witchdoctor. She learns his skills, and adds technological expertise as she progresses through local school to LSE and The Open University. Engineering the death of a tribal enemy brings a contract to target a greater menace to society and she graduates to become a top-flight assassin, removing a more dastardly evil-doer in each story and saving her adopted country from terrorist attack. Is such a career impossible in the complex, devious world of the 21st Century?

ROOTED IN FACT.
My first job out of university was trading in Barotseland and I watched a witchcraft trial. An enterprising villager improved on the traditional magic stick by boring a hole down the middle and producing a highly inefficient firearm. It created a minor wound, but enough to make cause of death uncertain - physical or magical? (A bit of research will turn up records of The Kalilozi Gun.) Ever since, I have been fascinated by the interplay between spiritual, psychological and technological powers. And years in government service have shown me the endless confusion that offcialdom can create..
A REVIEW (From Reviewers Bookwatch.)
"The first book ...... Accidental Assasin, is the story of a black female witch in England. With the great power of the mysterious, magical craft she learns from her teacher Kwaname, she dares to assasinate villains who would otherwise be untouchable, from a crooked policeman to a white slaver and even a wealthy foreign terrorist. A dark and gripping chronicle of ruthless justice, Accidental Assassin is especially recommended to fans of thrillers, as are its sequels He Only Died Twice and The Eager Apprentice." Here are some more comments:
"A quite amazing heroine, quite unlike others in this genre."
".... apprentice witchdoctress into trendy agency executioner."
"Mixing mystery with mayhem certainly makes a potent story line."
"....the essence of The Golden Bough but much more readable".
"... characters very believable...combine with an interesting plot."
